Using Simple Limit Equilibrium Method in order to Determine the Bearing Capacity of Foundation Standing on Improved Soil with Gravel Trench

This paper determines the bearing capacity of foundation with different width standing on amended soil using sandy trench with the limit equilibrium method has been considered. Retrofitting and increasing the bearing capacity of clay soils with low bearing capacity, with the use of construction of sandy or clay trench method , is one of the appropriate methods and friendly to the environment.Determining the increase in bearing capacity of foundation and the amount of the effectiveness of such retrofitting is one of the challenges of geotechnical engineering which this paper has tried to achieve this important using governing relations on limit equilibrium method.
