چکیده مقاله:

Now, the world is in the energy crisis. The concerns regarding environmental impacts of non-renewable fossil fuels and of reduced mineral reserves for nuclear energy make pressure for a new and renewable energy. Wind and water are two renewable sources; if we can use them simultaneously and correctly with minimum environmental impact, we will have clean energy. The pumped-storage projects have been proposed to supplement electricity grid and need water pump. In order to do this, pumped-storage needs electricity power in low demand times. On the other hand, windpower project problems of wind volatility affected on grid stability must be solved. Now this paper describes that pumped-storage uses the wind energy during the times of low demand to pump water from the lower reservoir to the upper reservoir. When wind power volatility shows that pumped-storage supports wind with dischargingwater from upper reservoir to the lower reservoir, it generates power to supply grid stability. If it is done, we can combine these two renewable energy powers. Inaddition, this article is about some locations in Iran where we can have these twopower systems together
