Application of Seismic Geo-tomography Method in Rock Quality Defined in Rudbar-e- Lorestan Dam

Seismic tomography is a powerful method in mineral explorations and investigation of rock quality in underground structures. In this method, by measuring the velocity ofseismic waves and plotting the curves with the same velocity, which indicate the quality of propagation of seismic waves between the sources and receivers the massesearth and stone within the galleries ,... and on the surface of earth and investigating. In this paper, the seismic data obtained from several boreholes and galleries locatedat Rudbar-e- Lorestan river dam site in Iran were used to model 2D tomography ofthe subsurface model.
