Patients’ satisfaction Internet Booking System in Zahedan Hospitals (2018)

چکیده مقاله:

Background:Patient satisfaction is an important indicator in assessing the quality of services provided in health centers and reducing waiting time for patients is one of the effective factors in increasing patient satisfaction. The providers of healthcare services, including hospitals, are aware of this issue, as well as the expansion of the Internet and its related technologies, try to reduce waiting times using internet booking systems. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate patients satisfaction with the Internet booking system in hospitals with Zahedan internet booking web site. Material and Methods: This is a descriptive-analytic study. This cross-sectional study was conducted on 200 patients who referred to clinics of hospitals with a booking website, which were taken online. Patients were selected by simple random sampling method. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made three-part questionnaire. Its validity was confirmed by 5 faculty members of Zahedan Health Information Technology Group and its reliability was tested by open-test and Cronbach s alpha coefficient was 0.76. The method of scoring the responses to measure, Likert criterion and the selected type 5 was considered. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics (frequency, mean, standard deviation) and using spssv.16 software.Results:According to the findings of this study, 85% of the participants in the study had access to the Internet, and 71% of them had personally taken turns. In total, the average benefits of the Internet rotation system were 3.26, which was in a good level, and from among the benefits, the best advantage with an average of 3.66 out of 5 was that of reducing the cost of travel. The social impact of the system was also at a good level with an average of 3.22 out of 5. In this research, the satisfaction of the general public was at a good level with an average of 3.12. Conclusion: The present study showed that most patients who used the internet booking system to take turns were satisfied with this system and assessed it well.
