چکیده مقاله:

Background : Hemorrhoids are a common clinical anorectal disease. Hemorrhoids are vascular structures in the anal canal. The hemorrhoid may cause symptoms that are: bleeding, pain, prolapse, itching, soilage of feces, and psychologic discomfort. There are many methods for treatment of hemorrhoid. The extract of Matricaria Recutita is being studied for useing in the treatment of inflammations of external and internal hemorrhoid .Material and methods:This study included patients who suffer from the hemorrhoid with prolapse symptom. Patients with hemorrhoid in grade 2, 3 and 4 used the extracts of Matricaria Rrecutita flowers on the area of the wound or hemorrhoids and administered or injected into the anus by a syringe. Follow up was done 4 weeks and 8 weeks the extract of Matricaria Recutita therapy.Results:Of the 164 patients enrolled in the study, prolapse syptom of 150(91.5%) were treated in 4-week treatment period and of 13(7.92%) were treated in 8-week treatment period with the extract of Matricaria Recutita. stricture and recurrence was zero after 1 years. The mean age of the patients was 42.9 years , 62.5% were male, and all were yellow.
