چکیده مقاله:

Background and aims: Cancer is one of the most important health problems worldwide And one of the treatment methods for cancer is chemotherapy. Nowadays, the synthesis and applications of metal nanoparticles from plant source is growing, because of its economic benefits, no side effects during chemotherapy and also its high biocompatibility. Palladium complexes due to their fewer side effects and more toxicity in various cancer cell lines are referred for researchers in overall world on the platinum complexes (1-2). Then, in the present study, we have investigated the design, synthesis, characterization and anticancer activity ofnew syntehsizedoxali-palladium nanoparticles using aqueous extract of the Zenyan plant against human colorectal cancer cell line of HCT116. Methods: In this study, at first, aqueous extract of Zenyan plant seeds was prepared by incubation at 55 ̊ and filteration, then, the extract incubated in optimal conditions with oxalli-palladium solution until formation of nanoparticles via inducing alterations in solution colour. Then, the physico-chemical properties of the synthesis oxalli-palladium nanoparticles via green chemistry method were examined using dynamic light scattering (DLS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) methods. Finally, the cytotoxicity and anti proliferative activities of a new-designed nanoparticles against human colon cancer cell line of HCT116 was evaluated using MTT assay.Resalts: Result of DLS was indicated the formation of stable oxalli-palladium nanoparticles with dimension of 70 nm. Also based on the results of SEM, the oxalli-palladium nanoparticles have a homogenous morphology with size OD around 70 nm. Results of the cytotoxicity show that the oxali-palladium nanoparticles produced a dose and time – response suppression on growing of HCT116 cell lines. Conclusions: From above results, it can be concluded that synthesis of oxali-palladium nanoparticles without any chemical reducing agentand by using green chemistry technique resulted to obtaining nanoparticles with dimension of 70 nm, is a sustainable and cost-effective which can be as a new candidate for colorectal cancer treatment.
