چکیده مقاله:

In this research, for the investigation of graphen effect on sensitivity, ZnO@SiO2/RGO core/shell nanoparticle gas sensor, was synthesized. To evaluate the effect of core/shell on sensitivity, 2 sensors of ZnO/RGO and Hollow SiO2/RGO have been synthesized. Samples were studied by XRD, FTIR, TEM, SEM and EDS techniques. FTIR spectra confirmed the expected structure, X ray diffraction pattern showed the formation of ZnO and SiO2 crystalline phase, EDS showed the presence of Zn, Si, O and C elements, SEM confirmed the expected topology surface (formation of particles in nano size) and TEM images confirmed the core/shell formation in nano composite. The ability of produced sensors in identification and quantitative measurement of three common industrial samples of Methanol, Ethanol and 1-Propanol have been evaluated. The results showed that the sensor response of ZnO/RGO and Hollow SiO2/RGO for samples was not suitable. In contrast, ZnO@SiO2/RGO is not only showed the excellent sensitivity in detecting all 3 samples, but also have a suitable linear ratio of sensitivity to concentration Logarithm. Measurement repeatability for ZnO@SiO2/RGO sensor in 4 injections with constant concentration of samples, showed suitable RSD value.
