چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it mayhave a negative effect on health. People are generally considered obese when their body mass index (BMI), ameasurement obtained by dividing a person s weight by the square of the person s height, is over 30 kg/m2.Overweight has several causes .Obesity is most commonly caused by a combination of excessive food intake,lack of physical activity. The purpose of this article is to find the relationship between genetics and obesity.Methods: This article is a reviewal. In search of valid scientific databases such as pubmed, ISI and Etc, 845articles were found with key words genetic and obesity.Results: Genetics is associated with obesity.Conclusion: Studies have identified variants in several genes that may contribute to weight gain and body fatdistribution. but are still challenges associated with detecting gen and gene interactions for obesity
