چکیده مقاله:

In this study, the thermal performance of two V-corrugated solar air heaters with triangular cross-section channels are investigated experimentally during the two months. The collectors have the same constructional specifications but different inclusive angles, which are selected as 35° and 60°. The experimental results of one day are examined in this article. The results show that at the same air mass flow rate, the collectors approximately have the same thermal efficiency during the day and the average thermal efficiency of 16% was achieved during the test day; but the heater with the inclusive angle of 35° has higher pressure drop. Therefore, its fan requires more power consumption to push the air through the channels. As a result, the collector with inclusive angle of 60° is preferable.
