چکیده مقاله:

In this paper, the sonophotocatalytic decontamination of textile effluent is investigated. The Fe2O3-ZnO/rGO composite as a photocatalyst was fabricated via impregnation method and its surface was treated by cold plasma stream. The synthesized samples were analyzed using a variety of techniques. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns showed the successful synthesis of Fe2O3-ZnO/rGO. The field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and Transition Electron Microscopy (TEM) illustrate reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO) sheets, the morphology of ZnO and Fe2O3 nanoparticles and homo dispersion of nanoparticles on the surface of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) for the treated sample by cold plasma stream. Moreover, Photoluminescence (PL) analysis was performed to determine the recombination of electron-hole pairs. Also, sonophotocatalytic decontamination textile effluent was achieved and its results show that cold plasma treated nanocomposite has better efficiency than conventional nanocomposite. Hence the treatment of Fe2O3-ZnO/rGO surface by cold plasma stream is an applicable approach to enhance photoactivity and photostability of the mentioned nanocomposite.
