چکیده مقاله:

The basic principle of mine ventilation is air movement and its control. The cause of air flow is the difference in pressure; thereby based on the cause of this movement, we have natural or forced ventilation or a combination of both. A criterion of well mine ventilation is improving the air quality and removing contaminants of it. The system should provide the required air volume with standard quality at reasonable pressure loss; it should perform with minimum interference and do so in the most efficient may possible. The control of the ventilation systems is complex and sensitive, this sensitivity arises from the lack of proper ventilation and often will cause lower miner efficiency and decreasing productivity; this leads to an increase in accident rate and absenteeism of miners, thus a well designed ventilation system should provide beneficial physiological and psychological side effect that enhance miner’s safety, comfort and health. In this paper the objective is to solve thischallenge by using proper ventilation equipments to hold the concentration of contaminants under the threshold limits imposed by the standards, to reduce health hazards that menace miners.
