چکیده مقاله:

Legacy network topology implementation was strongly depends on hardware and proprietary appliances and devices which increase the CAPEX (CApital EXpenditure) and OPEX (OPerational EXpenditure) for network developers and Data Centers.A good solution to solve this dependency is separation main functions from vendor dedicated hardware and implement them by software, VMs(Virtual Machines) and applications. Function separation from hardware has lots of advantages for network administrators and network investors. SDN(Software- Defined Networking ) and NFV(NetworkFunction Virtualization) are two important concepts in order to separate hardware and functions. NFV is introduced to virtualizes main functions of network on VM platform independent of vendor devices and appliances. On the other hand, In SDN, data plane and control plane decouples and network control functions are centralized in a programmable controller which controls openflow switches as forwarding path. This research is about employing SDN to develop and optimize NFV as a softwaredefined NFV architecture and using its benefit to implement an optimized dynamic service chaining as an application. In this paper, we investigate bottle necks and shortcomings of this architecture.
