Assessment of Utilization New Technologies in The Development of Iran`s Bus Network (A Case Study In Kerman)

One of the key solutions to organizations in charge of urban transportation in order which is using new technologies and intelligent transportation system. Using and taking advantage of new technologies have shown that these systems contain substantial benefits for the transportation network.As one of the most important goals is to reduce energy consumption of vehicles, this can be noted in advanced technologies and its subcategories in this field andusing it to improve the safety, effectiveness, and efficacy as well as quality of service and etc… are part of this fleet. The researcher has set up to make use ofTOPSIS Model to evaluate new technologies in the development of Kerman City`s Bus Network. At first, by using the One-Sample T-Test variables pertaining theuse of new technologies, quality of buses and stations, and also consumer satisfaction shows that from the point of view of Kerman`s citizens it causesimprovement of organization service of bus network of Kerman city. Finally, by taking advantage of new technologies of bus transportation industry that were prioritized for using in Kerman Bus Transportation Organization based on demands of the organization that the findings showed that the view of experts regarding the map of bus stops in the city has superiority over other solutions.
