چکیده مقاله:
Background and Aim: Many studies have shown the positive effect oflaser radiation and usage of the Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC) and theirsecretion in stimulating bone regeneration. The aim of the study wasdetermining the effects of MSC condition Media and low-level laser (LLL) on healing bone defects in the hypothyroid male rat.Methods: We assigned 30 male Wistar rats randomly to three groups:control, hypothyroidism, CM+LLL. Four weeks after surgery, the right tibiawas removed. Immediately biomechanical examination and histologicalexaminations were performedResults: Our results showed significant increase of bending stiffness(116.09±18.49), maximum force (65.41±8.16), high-stress load(23.30±7.14) and energy absorption (34.57±4.10) and trabecular bonevolume (1.34±0.38) and number of osteocytes, osteoblast, and osteoclast(12.77±0.54,6.19±0.80,1.12±0.16, respectively) in osteotomy site inLLL+CM compared to hypothyroidism groups (P<0.05).Conclusion: The result indicated that using the LLL+CM may improvefracture regeneration and it may accelerate bone healing in thehypothyroid rat.
