چکیده مقاله:

Nowadays, electric power systems have been changed in response to some problems such as environmental concerns, economic limitations, consumer needs and etc. In order to achieve these changes, many equipments like distributed generation units (DGs) arisen significantly in electric industry. In order to achieve optimal management and appropriate control of these equipments, a concept called ‘Microgrid’ has been introduced. A microgrid can operate in either the grid-connected or islanded mode. Supplying electric energy demand continuously with ensuring stability of microgrid, is one of the requirements for microgrid operation in islanded mode Therefore optimal scheduling for island operation of microgrid is very important. This paper presents a method to obtain optimal scheduling of microgrid components in a way that in addition to cost effective operation, microgrid stability constraint be satisfied. In this paper Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to determine time scheduling for optimal operation of DG units.
