چکیده مقاله:

In this article the effect of silica nanocomposite on gas separation is studied. Two different nanocomposite is investigated. Polyether-based polyurethane-silica nanocopmosite and polycaprolactone based polyurethane-silica nanocomposite membrane. Gas permeation properties of these membranes with different silica contents, was studied for pure CO2, CH4, N2 and O2 gases. The results of both nanocomposite membrane showed reduction in gas permeability but enhancement in CO2/N2, CO2/CH4 and O2/N2 selectivities by increasing the content of non-permeable silica nanoparticles in those membrane
