Low salinity water injection (LSWI) is a new and proofed enhanced oil recovery (EOR) technique which is utilize injecting water with a lower salinity than initial connate water. In this research, effects of salinity in LSWI are investigated through simulations of a 3-dimensional model by ECLIPSE 100. The model is semi heterogeneous and two oil and water phase. There are 2 cases in the study. The first case uses high salinity (HS) water injection method by injecting 35000ppm of brine from the starting to the end time of production (3650 days). The other case applied low salinity water injection technique by injecting 1000ppm of brine, in order to compare the effect of salinity with the first base case.
