چکیده مقاله:

To conduct the test, 72 h before starting the experiment, two sixty-day old eggplants were putinside a plastic cage (40×40×50) 20 cm far from each other. To prepare damaged eggplants, 40green peach aphids were added to each plant and removed them after 72 h. Fifteen third-nymphaphids were laid on right eggplant and 15 aphid-sporulating cadavers were transferred on left one. Then, a one-day old female parasitoid was released above eggplant with Beauveria bassiana. Thetime allocated by parasitoid was recorded in 30 min. This experiment was done with undamagedeggplants. The cages were incubated at 25 1ºC, 70 10 RH (16L: 8D). Presence of aphid inducedplant volatiles significantly affected patch time allocation of A. matricariae (F1,11=9.41, P<0.05)and caused parasitoid to spend more time on damaged eggplant than undamaged one. There was nosignificant difference in patch leaving time of parasitoid neither in presence nor absence of fungus(F1,11=3.83, P>0.05). Interaction between presence of eggplant volatile and fungus did not haveeffect on patch time allocation (F1,11=0.04, P>0.05).
