چکیده مقاله:

The Ommatissus lybicus which causes irreparable compensation every year is one of the importantpest of palms in regions where are fertile in the case of date in the world, like Kerman. With respect to thenourishment of this pest from the sap of plant and its excretion on attacked palms, the surface of theirleaves and sometimes their fruit pollute with excrement of O. lybicus and become sticky. . Using variousinsecticides against this pest every year not only poisons products but also pollutes the environment.Meanwhile because of immethodical poisoning, the pest becomes resistant. There for with payingattention to whatever mentioned above and importance of the subject, this research done in 1388 inShahdad, Kerman for obtaining the most appropriate spectrum or wavelength for yellow trap to attract thefull grown O. lybicus in the direction of the integrated pest management (IPM).To determine the spectrum, yellow cards without glued cover have sent to the optic laboratory in researchcentre for plasma physics in Azad University, branch of science and investigation. in this laboratory byspectrophotometer set, the spectrum of cards was measured. Five spectrums out of 9 have chosen and inthe form of completely incidental blocks were evaluated. The amount ofO. lybicus in whole surface of each card accurately were counted and by means of statistical applicationcalled 'Minitab' were inspected then by using Danken test were analyzed. This investigation indicates that thewavelength of 566nm (group a) as compare to other wavelength has the greatest and wavelength 581nm and593nm (group d) have the least attraction of full grown O. lybicus. The difference between mentioned groupsis in order of 1% meaningful (p=o). so by installing yellow card with wavelength 566nm while the pest fullgrown and before its time of laying egg has worthy of mention effect on reducing the population of this pest
