INVESTIGATION OF AGING EFFECTS ON OPERATION & USEFUL LIFE OF TARASHT STEAM POWER PLANT

In power network planning , one of the most important factors to be taken into Consideration, is the useful life of the -existing installations such as power plants. In Iranian power network, Investigation of this type which could lead to information related to the useful life of a power plant has not been carried out or reported. Therefore, the basis of Investigation reported in this paper is mostly on expriences of other Countries of the world which may not very informative for Iranian network. In this paper by Investigatig the aging effects on operation & useful life of power plants, Tarasht steam power plant with 32 years of operational background has been studied as a typical case for Iranian network.
