Renewable Sources of Enerey and Renewable Energy Technologies

Environmental concerns are growing and interest in environmental issues is increasing and the idea of generating electricity with less pollution is becoming more attractive. Unlike fuel of the conventional generation systems, the renewable sources of energy are available at no cost and most of the renewable energy technologies generate electricity pollutionfree. The objective of this presentation is to describe the renewable sources of energy and renewable energy technologies, which are commercially feasible. A further objective is to draw attention of the delegates of PSC2002 conference to the economical aspects of renewable energies. And finally a brief discussion has been given on the most appropriate renewable energy, from climate and social point of view, for Iran.
