A sociolinguistic study on the speech community in line with SLA

Sociolinguistics is the study of language in relation to social factors, including differences of regional, class, and occupational dialect, gender differences, andbilingualism. It also studies how language varieties differ between groups separated by certain social variables, e.g., ethnicity, religion, status, gender, levelof education, age, etc. The speech community is one the main issue of analysis in the ethnography of communication and one of the important concepts insociolinguistics. The purpose of this research is to shed lights on the factors influencing SLA regarding speech community. The research is a qualitative study on the speech community in sociolinguistics in line with SLA. This study can leadto better grasp of second language acquisition by taking into account some vital factors on the process regarding speech community.
