Background: One of the main concerns of nuclear facilities and centers of work with ionizing radiation is the spread of radioactive contamination outside of the controlled sites at the above-mentioned facilities. For prevent the spread of radioactive contamination outside of controlled sites in nuclear facilities, handheld surface contamination monitor systems are provided to relevant personnel to prevent contamination from people who come from these sites. One of the best and most effective surface contamination systems used in radiation working centers is a standardized surface contaminant. Contamination monitor designed in terms of efficiency, sensitivity, low counts, design and photon sensitivity and low-energy particles are superior to other devices.Methods: Common methods used to measure environmental contamination are the use of chemical etching that sample the environment and observe the trace of radioactive material under the microscope and report the degree of contamination, which this It s a very long time task. Surface contamination monitor Online displays the level of environmental pollution at high precision. This contamination monitor can display separated by separation of particles and simultaneously. This feature is using a library that is loaded inside the device.Results: A method for detecting ionizing radiation with the aid of a Scintillation counter and a photomultiplier using an inorganic solid-matter Scintillator that incorporates at least one decay time component greater than 100 ns and measures the photons emitted by the scintillator with a fast single-photon counter. The single-photon counter is composed of a fast photomultiplier with high internal amplification, a stabilized high-voltage Supply and a fast amplifier-discriminator with standard pulse output. With this arrangement, the measurement of all types of radiation, like alpha, beta, gamma and X radiation, In scintillation materials for the detection of alpha particles (ZnS; Ag) and plastics for the detection of beta-gamma particles and x-particles. For this reason, we can use a combination of two plastic materials and (ZnS; Ag) so that we can detect the alpha, beta and gamma particles.Conclusion: One of the most important equipment needed to enter the radiation, and especially the work with radiation rays, is the use of measuring equipment for measuring the level of pollution in the individual and the environment.
