The impacts of smart cities on citizen

The purpose of this research was to examine the impacts of smart cities on citizen. The method of this study is descriptive. In order to reach to the purpose of the study, several resources have been examined. Analyzing the existing literature showed that regarding the impact of smart cities on people lives, implementation of smart city shifts the social behaviour of citizens towards a more efficient and sustainable utilization of city resources, and it allows service providersand city government to provide more efficient and sustainable services. Since human behaviors are rooted in social situations, institutional contexts, so change in the society structure and the way of its nagement will impact on the citizens' lives. It could be said thathere is an explicit need to understand the impact of smart cities on urban environmental, social and economic sustainability from a holistic perspective
