Examining effect of risk management of supply chain on attracting deposits of Meli banks of Ilam

During recent decades, management of supply chain has got out of subtle and minor state and changed into a strategic element, which can have positive and tangible effect on organizational practices. Transformations resulted from technology within market situations, changing business ways, new expectations of current partners about supply chain and end demands for value created more than end consumer are among present cases in changing situation of supply chain management. The aim of present study is to examine relation between risk management of supply chain and attracting bank deposits. To do so, branches of Melli bank in Ilam were selected as population of study and senior managers were selected as sample of study through selective sampling method. In addition, supply chain risk management questionnaire was used for exploiting required data and financial statements of Melli bank within a 10 years period, from 2004 through 2013 were analyzed. Research hypotheses were analyzed using estimated generalized least squares tests (EGLS) and generalized method of moments (GMM) method. Results indicated a significant relation between the value of supply chain risk and the value of services offering risk with attracting deposits of Melli bank.
