Shadegan Wetland Pollution and lack of strategy for risk management

As a major source of income, tourism is quite influential in the social and economic development of societies and an important specialty in tourism is ecotourism. The study is focused on the international Shadegan wetland in Iran. The study is aimed to introducing attractions of international Shadegan wetland and also discussed the destructive impact of various pollutions on the ecosystem. Methodology used in this study is field study. From the collected data, it could be deducted that Shadegan wetland has great ecotourism potential. However, a negative effect on the growth constant has been experienced due to pollution and environmental negligence by both the locals and the authorities, which led to the strong emphasis and suggestions of strategic risk management
