RESTORATION OF ROYAL HUNTING MANSION DAMAGED IN 1999 KOCAELI EARTHQUAKE

The investigation and structural analyses that are necessary basis for the repair and strengthening procedures are presented on a conceptual basis in relation to the restoration principles as they are stated on the Venice Charter. In this respect a very important structure which was heavily damaged after the 17 August 1999 Kocaeli Earthquake is examined. Analytical and survey works for repair and strengthening of the building are explained.
