چکیده مقاله:

In this study, a probabilistic framework is established for nonlinear site response analysis of South Pars Gas field in Persian Gulf region. Two general approaches are presented for estimating seismic hazard of spectral acceleration at the soil surface. One approach is based on direct integration of ground response and rock spectral acceleration hazard whereas the other deals with an existing rock attenuation model amended with an additional term to account for local soil conditions. For estimating amplification factors, nonlinear site response analyses are performed with special attention to ground motion selection scheme. For this purpose, Conditional Mean Spectrum is utilized which can obviates the deficiencies of previous implementations. The Multiple-Stripe Analysis is also employed to provide a more realistic prediction of site amplification factor. The hazard curves at the soil surface extracted from both proposals are then compared with that obtained from a generic soil-attenuation model
