چکیده مقاله:

Background and Objective: One of the most widely used medicines for the treatment of infections in humans and animals are antibiotics. Excessive use of antibiotics, either directly or indirectly, including antibiotic residues in animal products such as milk and other dairy products, can cause health problems in humans. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of antibiotic remaining in local dairy products in Sanandaj city. Materials and Methods: In this study, in 2017, 200 samples of dairy products including milk, yogurt, butter and cheese (each 50 samples) were collected randomly from local dairy supply centers in Sanandaj city. Samples were evaluated using coupon test. Findings: Of the 200 dairy samples collected from local dairy products supply centers in Sanandaj city, 100 samples (50%) contained antibiotics. The most contamination was related to milk 88% (44 samples), 48% yogurt (24 samples), butter 34% (17 samples) and 30% cheese (15 samples), respectively. Conclusion: Conclusion: Given to the high consumption of local dairy products in Kurdistan province, contamination of dairy products with antibiotics affects a considerable population of people. Based on this, it can be concluded that antibiotic contamination of local dairy products can be considered a major threat to human health and it is important to take antibiotic measurements into the quality control of milk and other dairy products.
