چکیده مقاله:

Orthorhombic structured perovskite (Mn-substituted lanthanum orthoferrite) LaFe0.5Mn0.5O3 nanocrystals are prepared successfully by a very fast, inexpensive, reproducible, environment-friendly route, using octanoic acid as organic surfactant and microwave-assisted co-precipitation method. Preparation of these nanocrystalline perovskite is carried out by three steps: preparation the aqueous of the corresponding mixtures of chlorides, microwave irradiation of the solution, and calcination of the precursor at 900 ℃ for 4 h. The phase composition, lattice parameters, size of nanoparticles and magnetic measurements in these materials are characterized by FT-IR, XRD, and VSM. The perovskite synthesized using this method yield pure crystalline phase of LaFe0.5Mn0.5O3. However, the result shows that the formation time is decreased considerably by microwave irradiation and indicated that, the crystalline phase of LaFe0.5Mn0.5O3 became more precise with increasing calcination temperatures and the particle size increased with increasing calcination temperatures
