چکیده مقاله:

An efficient and straightforward synthesis of indenyl ligands derivatives via cascade reaction of aryl Grignard magnesium bromide with 2-Indanone is described. A series of 2-substituted indenyl ligands were prepared and used in the synthesis of [2-R-Ind]2ZrCl2 [R=C6H5 (1a), C2H5 (2a), C12H9 (3a), C10H7 (4a)]. Zirconium Bis -indenyl compounds (Metallocene catalyst) was simply synthesized indirect via the intermediating Bis(indenyl)ZrMe2 compounds from 2-indenylderivatives and four equivalents of MeLi. The final product was achieved by use of halogenating agent (HCl solution in Et2O).This method although requires two equivalents MeLi more but it still has advantages (higher yield compared to the classic method).
