چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: In the legal medicine labs, frequently, we have encountered the fact that, valuable samples like urine, stomach content, bile, blood, etc were not available in any reason. The research is another effort for checking drugs in Vitreous Humor , VH, but as a different way. Methods: The residual of the waste VH samples that primarily are used for alcohol detection, reused for drug detection. So 51 VHs with case history of drug, were collected after alcohol test by GC, Gas Chromatography , then they were extracted by LLE Liquid Liquid Extraction . And DLLME Dispersive Liquid Liquid Micro Extraction then they were tested by confirming method (Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry). At the end, samples of urine and VH, related to each case, were injected to GC-MS.Results: Spite of significant VH limitations, some drugs were detected in VH (About 20 percentages out of the total). In some cases, common drugs such as methadone and Tramadol were detected in both. In the urine they were obviously more various, frequent and further than VH (about 72 percentages out of the total). Conclusion: Although role of the urine sample is very huge but there isn t any reason for denying the importance of VH. So in the ceases of not being available of urine, automatically, VH will be valuable, especially considering the fact that in many cases VH waste samples are available due to alcohol tests.
