Atomic Edict, in Comparison with N.P.T

Issuance of the nuclear Fatwa by grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, leader of Islamic revolution of Iran, founded a new age in history of Iranian foreign policy, specifically in road of negotiation between Iran and (P 5+1)as a meaningful base; insofar as remarkable tendency of international noted figures has been evident in universal acceptance of the nuclear fatwa. This religious edict as an authentic document is not only a strong political commitment and beyond other commitments, but a new discourse on literature and international relations and law. The legal regime of the Fatwa is more comprehensive and impeccable than the Non Proliferation Treaty. According to the Fatwa there is no any discrimination between nuclear weapon and non-nuclear-weapon states; any kind of production, utilization and stockpiling WMD is proscribed under this legal regime. Thus, the initial steps have been taken for the formation of a new international custom which has been emerged from the legal regime of Fatwa in order to achieve a lasting international peace and security.
