چکیده مقاله:

In the present study, the static strength of single-lap Hybrid-Bolted/Bonded (HBB) laminated composites was investigated, experimentally. Also, the effects of adding Alumina nano- particles into the adhesive on the static behavior of the joints have been studied. Adherends were selected from cross-ply glass/epoxy laminated composites. The laminates were joined in three different ways including bolted, HBB with neat adhesive, and HBB with strengthened adhesive (enhanced joint), respectively. Static tensile tests of the samples were carried out using Zwich-Roll static testing machine. The experimental results showed an increase in the static strength of fabricated HBB joints compared to the bolted ones. The average static strength of composite bolted joints was 3300N. This value was improved to 3600 (about 9%) and 3700N (about 12%) using the neat epoxy adhesive and enhanced one between two laminates, respectively
