Introduction: Nowadays, increasing the speed of wound healing and reducing the complications of skin repair is one of the challenges in medical sciences; and Understanding the inexpensive and effective ways, including the use of traditional medicine, can be helpful in this direction. In this library study, researchers sought to assemble a collection of single and compound drugs that are listed in traditional medicine resources for wound healing.Methods: Using keywords like khatem, molhem, monbet-e-lahm, ghorhe, modammel and jarh ... in authentic Iranian traditional medicine books such as gharabadin-e-kabir, exir-e-azam and makhazen-o-talim ... drugs that affect wound healing were collected.Results: More than 30 herbal, mineral and animal drugs were found that were classified into 3 groups depending on their functionConclusion: Numerous medicines have been mentioned in the books of Iranian traditional medicine that have undergone clinical trial in vivo and in vitro and achieved good results. Given the cheapness and availability of many herbal remedies and their favorable clinical trial results, these drugs can be used to reduce wound healing time.
