In eternal human search for immortality and meaning, many leaders and heroes, both true and false, have made their appearance on the world stage. The respect and admiration shown to such figures among people of every nationality, in every age, of every thought, point to a deep human need to believe in someone greater than oneself, in an attempt to exceed the confines of one's own limited existence. We see this theme recur in world myths, legends, hero stories, and in the idealization of people who have been raised by their followers to superhuman or godly status. Most working and professional people today view such stories as the charming incidence of a simpler age. With fast globalization and steady stream of new ideologies that people are getting exposed to, it may be hard to know what to believe. Some might find it easier to ignore role model question altogether, focus ing instead on their relationships, career and getting ahead. Yet we know that excessive materialism stifles the mind and spirit; despite technological advances, the deep yearning to believe in a higher power, perfect management and true leadership remains. In this day and age, who can be trusted as a guide in both spiritual and worldly matters, especially in advance industrial and commercial life? There is one leader who is an extraordinary role model that people of all backgrounds can relate to: Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The minute details of his remarkable life have been carefully preserved and have been subjected to the scrutiny of historians, in east and west. In contrast to others who have achieved renown for their accomplishments in a limited sphere of activity, in certain era, Prophet Muhammad's achievements span all major areas of life in all times. When we search the traits required in a true leader and a perfect manager, for every count on our list we find an exact match and some examples in Prophet Muhammad's life. Whether its about the vision, objectivity, ownership, sincerity, commitment, delegation, dynamism, setting examples, planning, organizing, decision making, controlling or any other quality of human nature, we find it there. The amazing part is the time when this model made his appearance to the mankind. It has been fifteen hundred years now that the humankind received a model, which could even be followed today in all walks of life. Further point of amazement could be the comprehensiveness, a model complete in every aspect of life. The city Madina fifteen years ago was certainly different than the modern world today, but the person leaving behind an exemplary life is still worthy of following. The paper details the personnel qual ities required for a successful professional or an ideal manager and examples from Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) life. The author in person, is inspired by Prophet Muhammad to the extent of his religious believes but for this writing he has taken a pragmatic approach to share his views.
