خلاصه مقاله:
Written texts and texts writing are to be characterized as one way of communication. Establishment of the Text-Type as a communicative approach, going beyond a single linguistic or cultural context because the different forms of written communication may be regarded as being present in every speech community with a culture based on the written word and also because every author of a text ought to decide in principle on one of the three forms before beginning to formulate his text. A large number of studies are dominantly centered on the equivalence at text level and Reiss’s functional approach. This study aims at providing a comprehensive, detailed review of several research articles from ٢٠٠٧ to ٢٠١٤ on the Reiss text types and text varieties in order to systematize the assessment of translation. The overall result of this review has revealed that a large portion of texts contain both constant and variable elements. In order to discovering text type specific translation regularities both extra and intra linguistic elements must be considered.
