خلاصه مقاله:
In this study, facilitated transport membranes containing DEA as a carrier in PVA matrix are evaluated for CO2/ CH4 separation. The effects of Crosslinking agent and its concentration on CO2 permeance, CH4 permeance and CO2/CH4 selectivity were investigated.formaldehyde was usedas a Crosslinking agent. In order to confirm cross-linking reaction, FT-IR analysis was carried out. The results are compared to un-crosslinked PVA membranes. Results showed that in comparison with un-crosslinked membrane, crosslinked membranes showed higher selectivitybut lower permeance. CO2 permeance and CO2/CH4 selectivity decreased with an increase in cross-linking agent concentration.
