خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, combined heat transfer (laminar and turbulent natural convection, surface thermal radiation and conduction) in passive solar room equipped with a solar chimney (SC) is studied numerically using k-e turbulence model. The dependence of the room average air temperature and the amount of air change per hour (ACH) on geometrical characteristics of the system, outdoor air temperature and amount of solar radiation have been studied too. The findings show that thers is an optimum value for air gap depth of solar chimney (0.2m) and size of oppenings (0.2m) which are lead to maximum ACH number and indoor air temperature. It is also found that the effect of ambient air temperature on indoor conditions is not significant but it mainly depends on solar radiation.
