خلاصه مقاله:
Present study deals with the adsorption of arsenic ions from aqueous solution on polyaniline/rice husk (PAn/RH) nanocomposite. Batch studies were performed to evaluate the influences of experimental parameter such as pH. Optimum condition for arsenic removal was found to be pH 10. The conductive PAn/RH nanocomposite was prepared using ammonium peroxy disulfate as an oxidant at room temperature. The results indicate that the polyanilin/rice husk nanocomposite is able to remove arsenic from aqueous media. Also, the products were investigated in terms of morphology and chemical structure with scanning electron microscopy and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), respectively
