خلاصه مقاله:
Reformulated gasoline must maintain a high-octane rating with reduced aromatic and olefin content. In the production of gasoline from naphtha, C5 and C6 n-paraffin’s are typically isomerizes to their branched isomers, which have a higher octane rating. ZSM-5 zeolites are the well-known solid acid catalysts and have been widely used in the fuel-upgrading and production of many petrochemicals, due to its unique structures, thermal stability, acidity and shape selectivity. In this work, Na-ZSM-5 zeolite was successfully synthesized via hydrothermal method at relatively low crystallization time. The Pt-promoted ZSM-5 with nominal loading of 1 wt% wereprepared by impregnation method. The obtained catalyst samples were characterized by XRD,SEM, EDAX, UV and FTIR analysis. X-ray diffraction and FTIR results confirmed the formation of ZSM-5 crystal and scanning electron microscopy images revealed the morphology of the prepared zeolite
