The significance of entrepreneurial activity for the economic development of countries is now well established. The practice of entrepreneurship education isassumed to be largely associated with the success of venture and entrepreneurial performance. The primary purpose of this article is to provide some insights about theimportance of entrepreneurship education in creating entrepreneurial attitudes. The meaning of entrepreneurship is explained and two opposing ideas regarding theentrepreneurship training are highlighted. While some studies consider entrepreneurial aptitude to be innate, others hold that it could be taught. Literature has been suggesting that developed countries endeavor to link industries to academic institutions and stressthe importance of entrepreneurship education. In this way, they equip the entrepreneurs with the required competencies to start a new venture and most importantly, raise theirentrepreneurial attitudes. Based on the theory of entrepreneurship as intentional behavior, this paper scrutinizes the influential factors on shaping human behavior,including exogenous influences, attitudes and intentions. The study suggests that attitudes derive from exogenous influences. Subsequently, intentions and behavior are affected. The attitudes towards entrepreneurship may be influenced by educationalmeasures as exogenous influences and may lead to entrepreneurial activity. Therefore, many researchers try to understand all the factors that exert influence on attitudes,concluding that is necessary to carry out longitudinal studies. Compared to teaching entrepreneurial competences, improving entrepreneurial attitudes seem to be a far more demanding challenge for entrepreneurship education. This research indicates thatqualified educators can instill a positive attitude into business audiences and ensure that they possess entrepreneurial capabilities and perceptions necessary to initiate aventure. For the author, the obvious success of entrepreneurship is likely to continue for years to come. In the face of the grim situation of the current difficult domestic employment of university graduates, the need to strengthen the personal competency development and entrepreneurial abilities is strongly felt.
