خلاصه مقاله:
Salt tolerance of five citrus rootstocks namely: Cleopatra mandarin (Citrus reshni Hort. Ex Tan.), Carrizo citrange [(C. sinensis (L.) Osbeck×Ponicrus trifoliate (L.) Raf.], Bacraii (C. reteculata × C. limetta), Dez sour lime (C. aurantifolia) and Dez sweet lime (C. Iimetta) during germination,emergence, and early seedling stage was investigated. Increasing salt concentration delayed the emergence of the first seedling and increased time to 50% emergence. Among all of rootstocks Carizo citrange and Bacraii were the latest and the earliest, respectively. The results showed thatsalinity had a significant effect on emergence spread and final percent emergence. In the meantime, Bacraii had the highest final percent emergence. Also salinity altered mineral status of citrus rootstock seedlings. With increasing salinity levels, Na and Cl concentrations were increased in both shoots and roots of all rootstocks. The lowest Cl- and Na+ concentrations were observed in leaves of local Sour lime and this rootstock could accumulated these ions in its root
