خلاصه مقاله:
The effects and differences of air and water as the energy-conveying medium of explosive forming process will be illustrated in this paper. Hence, a large number of explosive forming tests have been conducted on thin walled cylindrical shells. Herein, it will also be showon that the energetic efficiency of explosive forming process while using water as the medium is 4 to 5 times more than the efficiency of the same process with air as the working medium. Furthermore, a new damage number which involves the cumulative effect of the influencial parameters of explosive loading will be introduced in this paper.
