خلاصه مقاله:
The Persian Gulf is one of the most important commercial waterways in the world. In peak periods, one ship passes the Strait of Hormuz each oil comes from this region. Extensive oil drilling and transportation activities increase the possibility of oil spills and consequent threat of oil pollution to the regional enviroment. A major oil spills can contaminate the shoreline, cause long-term damage to the aquatic enviroment for fishery and wildlife. Oil spills may also foul the harbor facilities and freshwater enviroments and oil spills detection considerable attention over the past few years, one of the major problems in oil slick combat and management is the prediction of the behaviour (movement and spreading) of oil slicks. Generally the goal of predicting the behaviour of oil slicks is the determination of the time-evolving shape of te slick under various weather conditions, in water where currents exist. we can predict behavior of oil slicks such as movement and spreadng to use of two-dimensional model, oil slicks is divided into a number of small grids and the properties of each grid due to spreading. thus an important component of this paper is investigation and description of mathematical models to predict the oil slick motion and distribution of oil particle concentration in the coastal waters.
