خلاصه مقاله:
Aim: The purpose of this study was to determine theeffectiveness of academic self-regulation on students'test anxiety.Method: The method was quasi-experimental withpretest-posttest control group and follow-up. Statiscalpopulation of this study consisted of all third gradefemale students in the second semester of 1392-93 ofMirzay Shirazi of Karaj city. Using available samplingmethod 30 third grade female students in the secondsemester of 1392-93 that were diagnosed with testanxiety in Sarason Test Anxiety Inventory (1975) wereselected and with matched and randomly were assignedto experimental and control groups. After eight sessionself-regulation training for experimental group, bothgroups for post-test were answered to Sarason TestAnxiety Scale (1975). Data were analysis using one-wayanalysis of covariance and ANOVA with repeatedmeasure.Findings: result of the study showed that the differencebetween the two groups is statistically significant andreduction in test anxiety is sustainable over time.Discussion and conclusion: In relation to test anxiety,research showes there is relationship between this factorand self-regulation factors- Tact and effort.
