X field is a small onshore producing field which is located in the west Persian Gulf, in Iranian sector, with an OOIP of about ١ MMMSTB. Its reservoir with porosity range of ١‐١٢ percent andpermeability a range of ١‐٤٠٠٠ md is situated in Asmari formation which is a complex limestone formation. The mainproduction mechanism during natural depletion is water drive and rock & fluid expansion. Recently, during this productionscenario, the field initial production rate declined rapidly within two years. The sharp decline was common in all wells. Therefore, it cannot be considered to be local well and /orformation damage. So this reservoir is a candidate for an EOR process. In this paper, injections of water, gas, water‐Alternating‐Gas(WAG) on this field was investigated to increase the recovery factor. Eclipse ١٠٠ was employed to simulate the reservoir.Simulation results show that the most economical method to produce this reservoir is WAG. This production strategy has resulted in better efficiency and therefore higher oil recoveryand good economics. The simulation results illustrate the influence of WAG injection parameters like WAG ratio, WAG cycle period and WAG oncecycle on recovery process. Also the effect of some uncertain parameters like three phase relative permeability model andanisotropy on WAG process in this reservoir is investigated. Also break through time in water injection and WAG injection compared.
