خلاصه مقاله:
the effectiveness of flood control measures in flooding planning has long been recognized , and such measures have come to be considered clearly with structural and non-structural methods. however , selecting an economical method from such options and optimal design flood estimation remains a problem. Now a day, the form of probabilistic risk analysis has largely replaces older forms of floodplain management performed by examining only a particular design flood, such as a maximum observed flood or an estimated 100-year event. With regards to economical analysis of options being a complex problem in river engineering and watershed management, the problem examines here is to identify the optimal combinations of flood control options and structural optimization of selected structures in rivers within a prbabilistic framework. Nonlinear programming formulation of this problem is proposed and demonstreated, which provides an explicit economic basis for developing integrated flooding management plans. This approach minimized the expected value of flood damages and costs for given flow or stage of unundation. A variety of flood control options can be examines in this method. And interactive effective effects of such option on flood damage reduction can be represented. The approach is demonstrated for optimal design pf mehranerud river flood control system of Tabriz city in iran.
