خلاصه مقاله:
Molecular imprinting is a newly developed methodology which provides molecular assemblies of desired structures and properties. In the presence of a template molecule, functionalmonomers are polymerized and immobilized. Generally, when a template is mixed with a functionalmonomer and a cross-linker in an organic solvent, a complexis formed between the template and the functional monomer through polar interactions. Subsequent polymerization withthe cross-linker fixes positions of polar groups of the functional monomer. Finally, washing the template away, leaves recognition sites that are specific for the template molecules. The key point in this development is identification and optimization of main factors affecting the polymer structure and molecular recognition properties. These factors are property, concentration of functional monomer and, crosslinkingmonomer, polymerization temperature, pressure, and solvent characteristics [1].Molecular imprinting technologycan provide efficient polymer systems with the ability to recognize specific bioactive molecules and sorption capacity dependent on the properties and template concentration of the solution[2, 3].In this work,we reviewed the use of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for metoclopramide as an antiemetic and gastroprokinetic agent
