خلاصه مقاله:
Polyethylenes (PEs) are the most widely used polymer material in industry; but the processing of linear PEs often show high viscosity and sharkskin . The occurrence of surfacedefects on extrudates over a certain critical shear rate limit the use of high shear rates, and thus it reduces the rate ofproduction in many practical polymer processes such as calendaring, extrusion, film-blowing and wire coating [1]. Because of the narrow molecular weight distribution andabsence of long chain branching (LCB) the above mentioned difficulties are especially evident in the processing of linearlow density polyethylene (LLDPE). The rheological properties of LLDPE can be controlled to the application of processing aids such as fluoropolymers andorganic silicon compounds [2]. In this research , inorganic filler were blended with PEG for the preparation of inorganic filler/PEG binary processing aids (BPA). The effect of BPA on the rheological properties of LLDPE was examined.
